Location Information:

Queenstown, New Zealand
“Pure inspiration” awaits you in Queenstown, New Zealand. Surrounded by majestic mountains and nestled on the shores of crystal clear Lake Wakatipu, Queenstown is New Zealand’s premier four season lake and alpine resort. Whatever you do, whatever your style, Queenstown will feed your imagination, fuel your passions and revitalize your spirit.
Queenstown has captured the hearts and imaginations since the first Maori came in search of the pounamu (greenstone) and the giant Moa bird. From adventure to downtown sophistication, there is something for everyone. Be sure to check out the local brew in one of the many wine bars, jazz clubs or cafes during your stay. From dusk to dawn, Queenstown is all a buzz.

Milford Sound, New Zealand
Simply stunning, Milford Sound is a natural wonder of world fame! In Maori legend, the fiords were created not by rivers of ice, but by Tu Te Raki Whanoa, a godly figure who came wielding a magical adze and uttering incantations. Milford Sound (Piopiotahi) is without doubt his finest sculpture. Join us for an optional tour of the city or explore the city on your own. Whatever the fiord’s mood, teeming with rain or with sun glistening on deep water, it will inspire you.

“Live Like a Local”
An unprecedented experience for one and all…today, we’ll motor through the countryside on our way North, taking in magnificent views along the way…we’ll make a few stops “here and there” before meeting our hosts for the evening. Tonight, we’ll be guests of a local New Zealand family and experience traditional home cooking while we “live like a local.” Share the customs of your new family and rejoice in their hospitality.

Christchurch, New Zealand
Located on the east coast of the South Island, Christchurch is a city of contrasts; there is an understated elegance that speaks of times gone by and promises a future with endless possibilities. Known as the “garden city,” Christchurch boasts spectacular parks and gardens.
Located in the heart of the city, be sure to explore the Cathedral Square Market. When you’re ready for an indoor adventure, treat yourself to a visit to Christchurch Casino. But, don’t forget to take a walk through Victoria Square and venture down to the banks of River Avon before retiring for the evening. If walking is not your cup of tea, jump on board of the heritage trams and enjoy an informative and entertaining adventure through town!

Melbourne, Australia
Known as a “style-setter,” Melbourne is home to a non-stop program of festivals, renowned dining, major art exhibitions and musical extravaganzas. A city filled with fantastic views, amazing shopping, fabulous cuisine and culture galore, Melbourne is perhaps Australia’s most cultured and politically conservative city.
No visit to Melbourne would be complete without a Colonial Tramcar Restaurant experience…a delightful innovative approach to dining…cruise the scenic streets of Melbourne while savoring a 5-star dinner in total comfort.

Phillip Island
Phillip Island, situated in the Western Port, is a place of natural beauty, sandy beaches, tranquil wetlands and unique wildlife experiences. The Penguin Parade experience is sure to be the highlight of your visit. As the sun fades in the sky, the little Penguins waddle up the beach to the safety of their homes in the sand dunes. Witness this magical procession – it is a treat never forgotten. Enjoy your day at leisure as you explore the wonders of Phillip Island or join our optional tour…the choice is yours.

Canberra, Australia
The essence of Australia’s culture, history and way of life is reflected in the national museums, galleries and institutions in Canberra; offering intriguing insight into Australian character and democracy and the journey from an indigenous continent to a modern nation. Celebrate Australia’s proud sporting achievements at the Australian Institute of Sport or delve into political history with a visit to the Parliament House. Canberra is a city in a part, carefully designed to transform with the four seasons.

Sheep Shearing & Aussie BBQ at Tobruk Sheep Station
Today, you’ll experience a tour and demonstration of sheep shearing at its finest! Learn about one of Australia’s biggest and oldest industries, first hand… watch and learn, or try your hand at sheep shearing…it’s up to you. (A Tobruk Stockman will be on hand to guide you through the process.) Whether you work up an appetite or not, an Aussie BBQ luncheon awaits you…savor the sumptuous delights of the great outdoors before departing the “land down under.” Sure to be a day, you won’t soon forget!

Sydney, Australia
Australia’s oldest and biggest city, Sydney is the “gateway” to Australia. A “natural playground,” Sydney’s stunning harbour plays a dominant role in so much of what the city has to offer…cultural life, dynamic food, vibrant cityscape, contemporary architecture, iconic beaches and five major national parks ensure that you’ll have a memorable experience!
Be sure to explore Bondi Beach and “live as the locals do.” Enjoy panoramic views of the coastline and indulge in a coffee or beer at the cocktail bar or glass atrium, snap photos of breathtaking scenery along the coastal path, soak up the ambiance as you explore the leafy streets of Woollahra and Paddington, and fall in love with the endless entertainment and shopping opportunities of Chinatown and Darling Harbour.

Koala Park
A short drive outside Sydney, Koala Park is a world of its own. Escape the city and explore the 10 acres sanctuary. Home to hundreds of Koala’s, Red and Grey Kangaroos, Dingoes, Wombats, Ehidnas, Emus, Wallabies and Australian native birds, this wildlife reserve is filled with lush rainforests, eucalypt groves and native gardens. You won’t want to miss feeding time…an opportunity for you to participate in hand feeding the animals. Bring your cameras, this is sure to be an experience of a lifetime!
