Flexibility to Choose
Given the current state of our country, we are excited to announce a couple of options to protect your travel investment:
First - we are now offering the option to purchase our Travel Guard Trip Cancellation Coverage - This plan covers cancellations related to medical situations for you and or a family member. To purchase this insurance and get the pre-existing conditions waiver, you need to purchase the coverage the same day you make your deposit for the trip. The cost for this coverage is 7.2% over the total amount of coverage you wish to purchase (i.e. $3,000 worth of coverage costs $216. $4,000 worth of coverage costs $288). For more info click HERE. For residents in: FL, IN, KS, MN, MO, NY and WA click HERE
The second option is the John Hancock Cancel For Any Reason Trip Cancellation Coverage (CFAR) which must be purchased the same day you make your deposit. The pricing for this is based on age and the amount of coverage purchased. Click HERE to obtain a quote & purchase your coverage; be sure to select the optional CFAR Insurance. This plan allows you the flexibility to cancel your trip at any time. Keep in mind, if you cancel for any reason other than medical reasons, they will only refund you up to 50% of the amount of coverage purchased. If you cancel for medical reasons, this coverage allows for a refund up to 100%.

Top Reasons to Buy Travel Insurance
Life is unpredictable. Some trips need to be cancelled.
With travel insurance, travelers don't necessarily have to pay for a trip they are unable to take.
Millions of bags are delayed, damaged, or stolen annually.
Travelex can provide coverage to replace needed items right away.
Credit card coverage may not provide sufficient coverage for travel.
Most credit cards don't provide comprehensive coverage that travel insurance offers and, often, only takes effect if you purchase the entire trip on the credit card. Another consideration is they typically do not provide medical insurance.
Travel insurance can provide peace of mind - especially for travel outside the United States, where many hospitals request cash payments in the thousands before treatment can even begin.
Health insurance may not go the distance.
The majority of U.S. health insurance policies (including Medicare and Medicaid) don't cover international travel. And, those that do will likely not cover the cost of medical evacuation back to the U.S. which can cost more than $50,000.
Lost or forgotten medication?
Travel insurance can provide assistance to assist you in locating a pharmacy to purchase a new prescription.
In the event of an emergency, airlines are not required to refund a ticket.
It's ultimately the airline's decision whether a traveler's situation warrants a full refund of the ticket cost. Most times however, airlines will merely offer a credit voucher (the original purchase price minus a penalty fee) towards future travel.
Flight delays can add up.
It is not the airline's responsibility to cover costs associated with delayed flights or refund money due to missed connections. Travel insurance can reimburse you for costs associated with these, including rebooking fees, meals and accommodations.
